At Focus Fotos we believe that photography is a snapshot of life, and it brings out one’s personality. Our interest in photography was born out of pure enthusiasm for this art, which is, however, interlaced with science.
Our aim at Focus Fotos is to identify what the client’s idea is, and we translate it into photography, a process which has been nurtured and refined by the experience garnered during the years operating in this field.
A photograph is a work of art and when capturing an image a special bond with each client is forged. Striking a rapport with the client ensures that the images reflect the client’s personality.
Both Terry and Chris owe their passion for photography to their childhood setting, growing up in an area of pristine natural beauty, enhancing their sensibility towards nature.
Focus Fotos has grown considerably since its initiation in 2012. It has acted as a catalyst in the local photography industry introducing a fresh perspective and a modern touch to it. The team is young, dynamic and resourceful, renowned for its attention to detail, professionalism and attention towards the client’s needs and wishes.
Focus Fotos excels in portraiture, creative lifestyle and photojournalistic wedding photography. Chris and Terry acknowledge that their favourite events are weddings. These offer moments of genuine and unrestricted joy and their challenge is to capture such emotions in the pictures in the most natural way possible, without excessive and artificial set ups. Their other goal is to provide clients with a chronologically based documentary highlighting the uniqueness of their special moments. Ultimately, they aim to rekindle special moments in one’s memory.
They emphasise the need to maintain the edge by keeping up with the latest developments on photographic technique and scientific advancements in professional photography. This is done by regularly participating in internationally recognised courses which fine-tune photographic skills and technique.
There is a marked artistic drive and keenness to enhance methodology in Chris and Terry. Both stress that their primary aim is to work closely with their customers. In running a client-friendly service they believe that great creativity is often the result of a thorough cohesion within the team and constant communication with their clients. They do not shy away from ambitious projects, a fact appreciated by clients since this makes their dreams possible via the dynamic medium of photography.
